Art Lessons to Help End Homelessness

Talented Artist and Art Instructor volunteers to provide drawing and painting lessons in exchange for donations to Skid Row Housing Trust in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles, CA: My name is Jessica Siemens. I am excited to share with you that I am supporting Skid Row Housing Trust and raising money to help men and women who are experiencing homelessness. I am teaching Virtual Art Lessons in exchange for any donation to Skid Row Housing Trust. This non-profit works tirelessly to permanently house our LA neighbors that have been living on the streets. The Trust also provides onsite medical and mental care services for these residents.

If you give ANY donation using the link below, I will provide virtual drawing or painting lessons to you or a loved one as a gift. Beginning and advanced artists are welcome! I can demonstrate how to use any art supplies at home and teach specific techniques that you or a loved one are interested in learning.

The Trust offers more than 1,800 homes to individuals who have experienced homelessness. We apply evidence-based solutions, and our cutting edge buildings and supportive programs give our residents the opportunity to regain dignity, independence, and wellness. In addition to secure homes these buildings also provide onsite integrated case management, mental health treatment, substance abuse recovery, and primary healthcare.

About the Art Instructor: Jessica Siemens graduated from San Diego State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Art in Painting. SDSU purchased two of her paintings through purchase awards and displays them on campus in their permanent collection. She then lived in Brooklyn, New York for four years, selling my paintings to private collectors and through Axelle Fine Arts Gallery in Manhattan. After NY, Jessica returned to California to teach private art lessons for five years. She now lives abroad in Greece discovering new horizons to inspire her work.

Jessica sells original landscape and surrealist paintings and works for commission from photograph to create custom works of art.
