I just completed a tripartite mallet for a client. This is a new type of mallet with three small fiber cane bundled into one versus one larger fiber cane. It was invented here at Escanaba Polo Mallet Co. and so far customers seem to like it.
Some advantages include strength and durability. Some disadvantages might be its a little more stiff. It does bend but not quite as much as a single fiber cane mallet. It is still very light. Lighter than most mallets. Durability seems high. Esc. Polo Mallet Co. eBay Store
