A Study Shows the Winning Strategies of Polo Teams

Building a good polo team and finding ways to score against the opposing team is good strategizing. How we do that is vitally important and good coaches know which players can do what. However, research does highlight some general strategies a team may use to earn more points (Best &Standing, 2018)

-Turnovers and penalties offered attacing and goal scoring opportunities.

-Backhand shots and the ability to contest the all were beneficail.

-Higher handicap players had higher variability and success rates.
